Free Digital Fax Service

Description: Free incoming fax service: Any fax received to your K7 account is stored online (through settings) and also packaged up and sent to you via email.

Suggested use:

• Don't publish your k7 number as your fax number, this is a safety precaution in case K7.net ever starts charging or if they go out of business, you would then find yourself in a bind. But instead take your current fax number (most agents have one in their house) and forward it through the phone company to your k7 number. So you still keep your current fax number, no change there, and you still send outgoing fax's the same way. Then if K7 ever goes out of business, you simply turn the forwarding off.
• Don't have a scanner yet? Need to send documents via email? Simple if you have a fax machine, just fax your documents to your K7 account and they will show up in your email, and then you can simply forward the documents off via email.
• Your not tied down to your fax machine anymore, as long as you have internet access you can just check your email, or their online web site to see if your fax was received.

Precautions: Make sure you get at least 1 fax a month, if not they terminate your account. A simple solution would be to send yourself a fax once a week, to make sure everything is working properly and you stay familiar with how the process works.

Description: I love this service, It's the same as the fax service you can receive both fax and voice at this number. Anytime someone calls the number and leaves a voice mail it will be packaged up and sent to you via email.

Suggested Use:

• I use this extensively when I don't want to give out my real home phone number. You know, all those online forms and such that want a phone number. I put in my K7 number and it helps cut down on telemarketers calling the house. If for some reason they do need to call you, they leave a voicemail and it shows up in your email.

Treo Time?

Cingular or AT&T ???? What's with the name change? Well maybe this video will help

Anyway's, regardless of what their name is this month I've been told that only Cingular? AT&T? supports Data and voice simultaneously. In other words if you have a different carrier and you are checking your email or surfing the web and a call comes in.... well they go straight to voicemail without the phone even ringing.

Ever wanted to block your phone number from the person you are calling?
